Velvet Apple Plant

Velvet apple is endemic to the low and medium altitude forests of the Philippine Islands from the islands of Luzon to the southernmost of the Sulu Islands and also found in southern Taiwan and Celebes in Indonesia. The tree was introduced into Malaysia, Java, India and subsequently elsewhere in the tropics.
